Serendipitous??

Open journal with pen, steaming coffee cup, candle on wooden table overlooking mountains at sunrise

I felt good this morning. I jumped out of bed, got myself together, and made it to work on time. I sat at my desk at work and I was productive. I did things, a lot of things. I didn’t crash out before 10 am. I didn’t stare at my computer pretending I had no work to do. I actually worked hard today.

It was a good day.

Now my mind spirals. Was it just one good day or is this the elevator out of this depression cycle? What caused me to have a good day? Was it because I blogged my thoughts to the world about depression and then read a little bit of the book I am reading?

Btw, I am currently reading A Stage Set for Villains by Shannon J. Spann. It’s a great book so far.

Was it getting my thoughts out of my head and then filling my head with a fantastical world? Did those things help me shut my brain down so the almost 6 hours of sleep was enough?

Or was it just one of those days that the demon needed a break from tearing me down so he let me slide today?

Instead of tempting fate, I am doing tonight what I did last night. I am blogging my thoughts to the world, then reading until I cannot keep my eyes open.

I did the other things too. I came home, ate dinner, played GTA RP, and watched an episode of Rookie.

Let’s see if tomorrow is another good day. I hope it is. I need another good day.
